The Miss World pageant, which took place in Puerto Rico this year, was won by Karolina Bielawska of Poland, who was the 70th winner. She was crowned Miss World 2021 in front of a live audience. Coronation ceremonies were held in the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on June 12. In the first runner-up position, Shree Saini of the United States was named, while Olivia Yace of the Côte d’Ivoire was named second runner-up.
Karolina is now studying a Master’s Degree in Management and hopes to further her education by obtaining a PhD in Management. Karolina also works as a model from time to time. Swimming, scuba diving, tennis, and badminton are some of her favourite activities. According to the Miss World Organization, she wishes to pursue a career as a motivational speaker.
Toni-Ann Singh, the 69th Miss World, presented Karolina with her crown, and she broke down in tears, saying, “When I heard my name, I was surprised, and I still can’t believe it.” I am thrilled to be the next Miss World and can’t wait to get started on my new role. “I will cherish these incredible memories of my time in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life.”
The highly anticipated Miss World final was televised live throughout the world to more than 100 nations, including the United States. After the Final was postponed in December owing to an epidemic of Covid-19, the 40 semi-finalists returned to Puerto Rico for the second time.
