The transfer of Angel Di Maria to Juventus has been finalised

According to an announcement made by the Serie A club on Friday, Angel Di Maria’s transfer to Juventus has been finalised after his release from Paris Saint-Germain at the conclusion of the 2017–2018 campaign.

The 34-year-old player will join Juve just in time for the winter World Cup in Qatar, which his national side will be competing in as winners of the Copa America.

It has been claimed that the Argentine winger would receive a salary of seven million euros while playing for Turin this season.

Di Maria went to Paris Saint-Germain in 2015 from Manchester United. Over the course of his career, he has been a significant offensive player and has won a total of 18 championships.

During his seven-year tenure with Paris Saint-Germain, he appeared for the club a total of 295 times in all competitions, scoring 92 goals and tallying 112 assists.

However, he was unable to win the Champions League in 2020 since PSG’s championship defence against Bayern Munich was unsuccessful. Despite his success, he was awarded five league titles and five French Cups.

In addition, France international midfielder Paul Pogba is expected to rejoin the Juventus squad as they want to rebound from a disappointing season in which they finished fourth, 16 points behind AC Milan, the team that won the league.

After being released by Manchester United, Pogba arrived in Turin on Friday evening and is expected to sign a contract for a duration of four years.
