In a revealing new interview with “The National Era”, NRBARZ revealed how is using clarity in wordplay and a faith-based approach to writing each song that is connecting with an increasing and eclectic demographic of listeners alike both near and far.

The National Era: What inspired you to start playing and making music?
NRBARZ: Watching as a fan first of music and the art in seeing the behind the scenes and the creative process that spark the birthing of the sound and lyrics as in many cases it does in both a complete or also in a progressive manner.

The National Era: What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?
NRBARZ: In my strengths more as a lyricist theme-wise I am able to pull life experiences whether personally, generally and spiritually in songs that can stem as a common denominator in our daily lives the value of living which involves both the victories and the defeats we all can relate no matter what religion, gender, ethnicity or background I see the music as a bridge and a connecter in the hope to stir up such conversations among ourselves as humanity with a divine purpose.

The National Era: Do you have any weaknesses that you’re actively working to improve on?
NRBARZ: Yes, indeed I will be the first to admit that I am actively working on to stop second guessing myself at times. I am learning that true freedom is knowing that in your own space never let any outside entity or negative voices affect your inner peace if the Creator God has planted that virtue of peace in you, we are responsible to guard it not only for others but for our own sake.

The National Era: What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?
NRBARZ: As a Creative from the Bahamas and the extended Caribbean who just happens to do music and some media, I want to continue branching internationally my brand as Nrbarz to my growing fans and network affiliates especially in the South Asia region and just continuing to connect with my overseas family as well as with my local family whose still discovering me in some cases during this new light and new season.

The National Era: What’s the best piece of advice you want to give to upcoming musical artists?
NRBARZ: Always be your authentic self as you operate in your craft of Creativity but also realize that with it comes a great responsibility have fun with it my brothers and my sisters but do remember to use what you have been blessed with wisely.
